The President of the Republic of Somaliland and Kulmiye Party presidential candidate, His Excellency Muse Bihi Abdi, attended a grand ceremony launching the party’s Fourth Political Manifesto for the years 2024-2029.

 

Joined by senior Kulmiye party officials, cabinet members, parliamentarians, Kulmiye executive committee members, women, youth, intellectuals, and other distinguished guests, the President participated in a detailed discussion of the manifesto designed for the upcoming elections.

 

The ceremony featured speeches from the committee members responsible for drafting the manifesto, including Chairman Cabdiweli Suufi and Farxaan Aadan Haybe, who provided in-depth explanations of the manifesto’s key focus areas. They highlighted its six main pillars: Foreign Affairs, Domestic and Foreign Security, Economy, Production (Livestock, Agriculture, and Fisheries), Social Services and Islamic Practices, Strengthening Governance and Democracy, and Environmental Management and Climate Change.

 

Subsequent speeches by Kulmiye party leaders, including Chairman Mohamed Kaahin Ahmed, First Deputy Chairman Cabdicasis Mohamed Samaale, Third Deputy Chairman and Vice Presidential Candidate Maxamuud Xasan Sacad Saajin, and Secretary-General Faysal Cabdiraxmaan Madar, praised the new manifesto and urged the public to support the party’s vision.

Ministers of Livestock and Health, Saeed Sulub Mohamed and Hasan Mohamed Ali Gaafaadhi, respectively, responded to recent statements by the WADDANI party leadership, emphasizing the party’s strong candidates and their commitment to the people.

 

The Vice President of the Republic of Somaliland, Abdirahman Abdullahi Ismail (Saylici), welcomed the new manifesto and thanked the drafting committee.

 

In his closing remarks, President Muse Bihi Abdi commended the committee responsible for the manifesto, describing it as a comprehensive document that the public could confidently rely on.
