The President of the Republic of Somaliland, His Excellency Muse Bihi Abdi, attended a large event held for 576 students who graduated from Burao University on Saturday.
The ceremony was attended by the president, members of the cabinet, the head of the KULMIYE party, the administration of Burao University, the students, their parents, and other leaders of the society.
In his speech, President Bihi congratulated the students and urged them to use their knowledge to serve their country. The president also cut the ribbon on a new building built for Burao University.
The graduation ceremony was a joyous occasion, and it was a testament to the hard work and dedication of the students, their families, and the faculty and staff of Burao University. The graduates are now well-equipped to make a positive contribution to Somaliland.
